I am riding the 141, which is perfect for someone in the 170-190 range... this board simply feels professional, many aspects will improve your game significantly, however weakness's will be exploited quickly. Examples: If its POP your looking for you will get it with no sacrifice of speed. Landings with a good boot are fairly soft, and weight is super light with novacore. However if you are used to a deep fined sticky intermediate board this will feel loose in the first 4-5 rides, but stick it out b/c you will gain incredible versatility with freestyle riding especially moving to switch. Try to find a local shop that carries Hyperlite... I had to drive 45mins to get my board but found it for $549 in summer of 09.

Love this thing. Went from a Sub 6 to this board and it rides real loose just the way I like it. I dont like to be locked in. You can break this thing loose any time for some great butter slides and still dig the rail for some super hard pops off the wake. Not as light as my Sub 6 but I was spoiled on that board too at $799 retail. This Marek is not heavy at all. I ride a 141 and am 218 lbs!
