Initially, was very happy with the purchase of the Boa - it looked good, felt great and rode well.
Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the boot tongue construction - within two days of riding the seam started to split on the left boot. This was mainly due to the position of the seam under the lace and the right boot is unaffected. I recounted this to a number of people and it is allegedly a prevalent issue - I found this was backed up by many comments on the web.
The clips on the handles also broke on both the lower section - compression of clip causes it to break.
The laces release ok but it would be helped by a slightly larger grip and perhaps if there were grooves moulded for better finger traction.
Avoid this binding. |
