You just can't go wrong with these "concert like" speakers. Tower speakers are used for one reason, give the rider some tunes to ride to. I don't care if you have 20 6X9 speakers are your tower, your rider will steal be asking you to turn it up. Get the right speaker for the right job!! HSE is the way to go....I looked at Wet Sounds and NVS and liked the HSE hands down for price and quality. The sound at hight volumes is second to none. The speakers do just what they need to, project the sound out up to +/- 100 ft.. The people in the boat are not bothered by you having to crank up the sound. Add an EQ to even get better control of your pro audio. To sum it up you get great value from a great product.
