Review for CWB Base Home | Back one page

The Base wakeskate is a flat, grip taped wood skate designed for the entry level wakeskaters wanting to get the feel of rocking a board with no boots.  The Base performs and snaps off the wake for even the most advanced wakeskater.  Boasting an eight ply wood construction, a slight swallow tail and a rocker pattern that is forgiving.  The Base will take you everywhere you want to go bootless on a budget.

I am a over 50 female and am just beginning to wakeskate. I love my board and am just starting to really rip back and forth and almost backwards butterslide. The edges grab though so you have to be careful. Love rocking when turning though.

It's a decent board. A great board to start wakeskating on because it gets you use to the feel of wakeskating. Not much pop on it at all.
